FAQ's


How do I place an order? TOP

You may place an order at any time by placing items in your cart and following the prompts to pay.  We DO NOT accept checks for order placed through the website. 
 

To pay by Money Order/Check-

Email your order to  designsbyjanet@sbcglobal.net

Please allow two weeks for checks to clear.
A $30.00 fee will be charged for returned checks.   

 

Local Pick up Orders- You must meet at our convenience at a local store.  Most likely that would mean a evening on the weekend.  Email instructions for Local Pick Up will be sent after receiving order/payment. 

 

How do I care for my pendants? TOP

My heart and soul goes into each piece I create.  The pendants are not waterproof.  Do not submerge them in water or wear them while showering or swimming.  The pendants are made with a high quality silver-based solder.  Upon finish, I apply a finish that helps keep a nice shine.  You may polish your pendant with a silver cloth to keep a beautiful shine. 

What happens if my piece breaks? TOP

We take pride in our work and our jewelry is designed to last a lifetime when treated with care. 
 
Most of my pendants and jewelry pieces are created upon ordering.  I am unable to accept returns for damaged products.  I will fix any broken pendant that does not show signs of water damage or abuse.  The glass and images must be in good condition and not have any damage. 
Necklaces and bracelets that have broken clasps will be fixed.  Items that have not be treated with care will not be fixed for free. 
 
You will be responsible for shipping to us, and we will pay for the shipping to you.  We do not give refunds.

What if my purse, shoes or shirts arrive damaged? TOP

A store credit will be given for damaged shirts, shoes or purses.  We thoroughly inspect each piece before shipping and DO NOT anticipate that to happen.  All items need to be return to Designs By Janet within 10 days.

When placing an order, you are automatically placed on our email-mailing list. If you wish to un-subscribe, please do so through the link in the email.

Our email services are through Constant Contact. Your privacy is very important to us and we will NEVER release your information to mailing list companies.   

Will my email or payment information be shared? TOP

Our secure merchant server handles all credit card sales and your information WILL NOT be shared with others.  We follow all Privacy Act Rules put in place to protect our clients.  Your privacy is very important to us.
